As Scotia Recycling continues to grow as a leading recycling company in Atlantic Canada, we are excited to announce that our company has made a major capital investment of over $8 million in the company’s Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Kentville NS, in addition to other capital investments in five of our other facilities in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
We invite you to attend the Open House celebration of the Kentville project’s completion:
When: Wednesday November 9., 2022 from 5pm to 7 pm
Where: Scotia Recycling Limited, 110 Donald E Hiltz Road, Kentville Nova Scotia
This modernization initiative grows our capacity and brings efficiencies to our recycling and waste management capability. Installing new and innovative equipment enables our team to produce more recycled materials at a higher end-quality, and the equipment will make this job easier. By upgrading to become better recyclers, we also ensure less materials end up in landfills. Over the long term, our goal is to increase our customer base, and as we grow, we hope to add more employees to our team. As one of the stakeholders consulting with the provincial government about EPR – Extended Producer
Responsibility – Scotia Recycling is in alignment with the vision and looks forward to collaborating with all our municipal and government partners in playing a key role as the province prioritizes environmental stewardship and waste reduction.
We’re very pleased that the Premier of Nova Scotia, the Honorable Tim Houston, will be on hand at the Open House, to celebrate with us and our employees, customers and partners, local business and government representatives, board members and family shareholders.
We hope you can join us!
Please RSVP by no later than Wednesday November 2nd to [email protected]
Thank you for your interest in, and support of Scotia Recycling.
